We are happy that our summer Amgen intern, Alex Platero, was awarded a travel scholarship and the opportunity to present the work he did in our lab as an oral presentation at the 2013 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS) on Nov. 13-16th in Nashville, Tennesee. You did a great job in the lab this summer, Alex, and we wish you all the best in Nashville!
